Voxel addons would like to announce that starting from version 1.1.0.0 of the WooCommerce addon for Voxel:
- The functionality of WA4V will change and will not be backward compatible with the previous version. Users will need to reinstall everything (if you encounter any difficulties, please contact me for assistance).
- The plugins will no longer work on two separate sites as before and will need to be installed on the same website: Voxel, WooCommerce, WooCommerce Subscriptions, and WA4V.
Some reasons for this change:
- To make it easier for users to manage.
- Users will be able to receive support and utilize the vast plugin resources from WooCommerce (such as affiliate programs, etc.).
- WA4V will directly support WooCommerce products instead of using Voxel products in the future.
Installation steps for users from the old version:
- Install WooCommerce, WooCommerce Subscriptions, and the new WA4V version on the existing Voxel website.
- Go to Admin Settings > Voxel Plans, click on each plan, and select ‘Sync all prices from WooCommerce,’ then create the prices.
- Manually add subscriptions and orders from the old WooCommerce server
